An important aspect is that they must be well light and bright to appear welcoming and inviting.  Country kitchens are great for big families where many people may be in the kitchen at once.

Modern kitchens are also very easy to spot by their kitchen cabinet material which is usually stainless steel, white or bold-colored laminate or grained woods such as birch, maple or even ash.

The kitchen cabinets are also usually frameless and feature oversized hardware.  It’s also likely that you’ll find frosted glass insets, stainless steel and other metallic accents. 

The general design of modern kitchens is very calm and unique.  They usually feature curved cabinets and counters to complement the entire design.

Contemporary kitchens are the future, at least that’s what some say.  These kitchens are usually designed more like art then for practicality.  They are often made with patterns and designs incorporated throughout the entire kitchen.

They are usually very simple and tend to feature materials that are man-made rather than natural.  Because of their minimalism they tend to look very new age and foreign.  They are great for condos and really look professional and futuristic.
